Kargro has been a member of the AZuR network (Alliance Future Tyres) since its foundation. AZuR is a cross-industry initiative committed to promoting a climate-friendly circular tyre economy in Europe.
AZuR works to ensure that new tyres are produced as sustainably as possible, while end-of-life tyres remain in the value chain through retreading, repair, and recycling.
With nearly 90 partners from industry, trade, and academia, the AZuR network covers every stage of the tyre circular economy. Universities and research institutions within the network contribute valuable insights through research projects and studies, helping to advance processes and tyre recycling technologies.
The AZuR model for a circular tyre economy has gained international recognition and serves as an example that can be applied to other regions and waste streams.
